This article mainly aims to analyze the concept of hermeneutic, historicism, historicity and universality. Also, it emphasizes the usage and the purpose of these concepts in the Qur'an. It is implied that the thought of historicism has emerged and developed in the West, and then, transferred to Islamic world. The authenticity of some ideas which are claimed to be available in tradition in the discussions of Islamic world have been questioned. Also, the consequences of the method are studied by focusing on the certain samples.
