Nowadays many developments taking place all over the world in past can be traced quickly. The basis of these opportunities is interdisciplinary approaches. The interdisciplinary approach can be applied in all areas related to education. Supporting the learning process with the information related to different fields, including the effective participation of the students in the process helps to learn effective and meaningful. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of the interdisciplinary approach applied on the literature street project. In this study, a case study approach from qualitative research methodology was adopted. In relation to the questions in the study; Turkish Language and Literature and Visual Arts teachers have presented several opinions. As a result of the study, it was determined that the project made a positive contribution to the students' learning process. Visual arts emerged as an important area for students to learn not only by writing and reading, but also by seeing, doing and experiencing. In parallel with the results, it has been suggested to conduct studies on the relationship of visual arts with other disciplines which are not included in this project.
