Developing The Scale about Drama Education for Attitudes Evaluation of Pre-School Teacher Candidate

Özet

This study was planned to carry out the study of validity and reliability of "The Scale Of Evaluating Attitudes over Drama at Preschool Education (SEADPE)" prepared to determine the attitudes of preservice teachers concerning the course of "Drama at Preschool". The sampling of the research consisted of 273 students attending the program of preschool education teaching at the faculties of education of the universities in the city of Ankara. The method of factor analysis was used in order to determine the structural reliability of the scale. Depending on the results of the analysis, it was determined that the scale was made up of 24 items and divided into 5 factors. When we examined the analyses of Cronbach Alfa value of 5 sub dimension, it was found that attitude subscale concerning the necessity of the course was .90, attitude subscale regarding communication during the class was .87, the subscale of expressing one's feelings related to the course was .78 and that attitude subscale concerning the content of the course was .61. Cronbach Alfa value at total scale was .92. The analyses conducted showed that "The Scale of Evaluating Attitudes Over Drama at Preschool Education" is a valid and reliable scale of assessment.
