The efforts of individuals which are beyond their physical and psychological borders, together with unappropriate ambiance and social environment, cause stress. It could be defined as a disturbing emotional state which comes into view during the orientation of the body to the disturbing states. In the work, the literature about stress is examined. Additionally, the history of stress researches, physical and social symptoms of stress, highmiddle-lower-level reasons of stress, positive and negative results of stress are examined. Finally, the strategies to cope with the stress by means of body, mind, behavior, belief and spiritual life are analyzed.
